What is the Mark III?
The
Mark III (or MkIII) is our first publicly available pod that is the
product of 5+ years of development. |

What sets a pod from PodWombats apart from other home simulator
units?
Several
things set us apart.
First off, no one that we know of is making anything quite
like a pod from PodWombats.
There are products that might be categorized as home
simulator units, but none as gamer-oriented or as affordable as
ours. Also, the MkIII
is not restricted to a single purpose like other home
simulators. It serves a
variety of gaming needs.
It is also important to note that no other product we know of
offers a completely enclosed environment. |

How much does a pod from PodWombats cost?
Pricing will vary slightly based on
options. A basic pod is
priced around $2500, easily the most affordable of any high-end home
simulator unit. |
4.
How big is the Mk III?
It is almost exactly 6 feet long,
4 feet wide, and 4 feet tall.
It will fit comfortably in most household rooms. |
5. Is
the Mk III wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately,
no. However, we are working on designing a pod that is.
If you have any special needs for being able to enter/exit one of
our pods, please contact us. Your input will help us in
creating the perfect pod for the physically disabled. |
6.
What happened to the Mark I and the Mark II?
The Mark I
and Mark II can be found in the homes of two of the company's
founders. They still
use them for PC gaming purposes. However, they are not
available to the public.
But you can have a Mk III, which incorporates all of the best
aspects of its predecessors.
